EPA, RRP Lead-Safe Certified Firm - Section 402 of the TSCA
Eco Pro Restoration LLC is an EPA Lead-Safe, RRP-Certified Firm (Certification No. NAT-F278532-1) in accordance only with 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart E, and is compliant with Section 402 of the TSCA.
According to the EPA, if your home was built before January 1, 1978, any renovation, repair, or painting (RRP) project in a pre-1978 home or building must be performed by certified lead-safe contractors. However, DIY homeowners who reside in their own homes may be exempt from these rules. For more information on DIY projects, please visit EPA.gov/lead.
Additionally, the EPA states that if you rent all or part of your home, operate a childcare center in your home, or buy, renovate, and sell homes for profit (such as house flipping), the same regulations apply. For more information on lead safety, visit EPA.gov/lead.
Based on Eco Pro Restoration LLC's current EPA credentials, we are authorized to: (1) enter a dwelling built before 1978, (2) conduct a lead paint surface test, (3) provide an estimate for the proposed work, and (4) carry out necessary water damage or mold remediation work, unlike those others who are not an EPA Lead-Safe RRP-certified firm.
