Frequently Asked Questions

Mold growth can be harmful to your health & also to the actual bones of your home, if you will. There are many hundreds of mold types. For more information, we found this publication,  EPA's Guide to Mold Moisture & Your Home, helpful.

We at Eco Pro Restoration LLC are NAMRI, PMII & BioE Certified Mold and Odor Remediation Professionals. We combine our state-of-the-art remediation equipment and instruments with the standard-of-practice techniques used only by the industries best from start to finish. Our high-end instruments and equipment give you the correct information when needed most. We will communicate with you throughout our work process to keep you updated. We take pride in our work and strive to help our customers.

Eco Pro Restoration LLC wants to help our customers, and we offer various remediation services for unfortunate and horrific indoor disasters. We specialize in remediating interior and exterior troubled areas such as mold damage, fire and smoke damage, water and waste flooding damage, and treatments for odor control remediation.

We at Eco Pro Restoration LLC strive to provide our customers with high-technology testing instruments to offer higher accuracy results. And the same goes for the equipment we use.

Our Testing Instruments: A brief overview of our high-end testing instruments. We see it this way, more accurate testing results lead to a better assessment of the areas of concern. That's why we invest in high-quality, commercially rated instruments and equipment. A brief example, we use infrared (IR) thermal camera multi-lens with photo overlay technology, borescope cameras to inspect behind building materials, advanced multi-function hydrometers, RH moisture detection meters (calibrated for specific building materials), and non-invasive calibrated moisture detection meters, to mention a few. This provides us with essential, reliable, and accurate information to better assess the areas of concern.

Our Equipment & Work:  We pride ourselves on the specialty tools and techniques we use during the remediation process. Our commercially rated high-end remediation equipment is as necessary to us as our testing instruments. They complement one another to help us complete our remediation work most efficiently. Under most circumstances, we will erect a temporary plastic containment barrier to seal the area(s) of concern and to provide a negative air chamber surrounding our remediation work. Our multi-stage HEPA air scrubbers (micron filtration down to 99.7%) are used inside the negative air containment areas. Our XL dual-stage advanced dehumidifiers are used to remove excess moisture efficiently. We use powerful commercially rated multi-filtered wet/dry HEPA vacuums during our remediation and clean-up work. We may also utilize our high-volume air movers to direct the air and control the drying process. Our (BoiE) Ozone and Hydroxyl (odor control) Remediation techniques remove virtually all odors, especially from those unfortunate, horrific occurrences. There are many other phases of our remediation-related work not described here. Each situation is different from the next, as you can imagine. After we assess your situation on-site, we can provide our competitive estimate.

As you can see, our company culture prides itself on our specialized services and using high-end equipment and instruments for true results, all to benefit our customers. Contact us today with your questions. We are here to help you and are competitively priced within our local industry.

Eco Pro Restoration LLC offers 24/7 emergency services and can typically respond to an emergency within an hour of receiving a call. Our friendly professionals are here to help you stabilize those unfortunate situations.

We have a 10-step process at Eco Pro Restoration LLC:

  • Containment:  The mold-affected area(s) is/are initially determined from the test results produced by the third-party environmental testing company. We will commence our work by building a temporary visquine containment barrier surrounding the mold-affected areas and isolating it from the other interior areas.
  • Equipment: We will install our multi-filer HEPA air scrubber(s), directional fans, and dehumidifier(s) equipment, as required, to treat the air inside the containment barrier while we are performing our remediation work. Our HEPA equipment shall continuously operate 24 hours per day during our remediation work.
  • Contamination Removal: We will remove the visual and other contaminated building materials specified in the environmental test results. However, hidden mold-affected material may be discovered behind the original surfaces during our remediation work, requiring additional contaminated material removal. Material examples may include portions of drywall, baseboard, door trim, window trim, cabinets, carpet/padding, simulated and natural wood flooring, etc.
  • Cleaning: Scrubbing and eco-friendly chemical treatment of the building and finish materials to be saved include wood studs, plywood, sub-flooring, floor joists, trusses, and other general components. Different methods can be utilized depending on the circumstances.
  • Application: Applying eco-friendly antimicrobial solutions further penetrates wood and porous material, which kills embedded mold roots.
  • HEPA Vacuuming: Our specialized commercially rated HEPA vacuum equipment will remove surface mold.
  • Preventative: Seal/encapsulate the mold-affected surfaces with an eco-friendly antimicrobial sealer to help prevent mold from reoccurring.
  • Final Cleaning: We wipe the area again with eco-friendly antimicrobial agents, including the temporary visquine containment barrier. Under no circumstances should any company undergo this extensive cleaning process without adequately cleaning the visquine containment barrier before its removal and possibly spreading microscopic spores through other areas of your home. We chemically clean the containment area surfaces and the temporary visquine barrier before removal.
  • Final Clearance Testing: The third-party environmental testing company shall retake the same tests of the remediated areas and submit the samples to a third-party lab for evaluation and to produce the clearance test results. Successful clearance test results provide the completion of our remediation work. Your contractor can then start the final phase of the rebuild process.
  • MERV-8 HVAC Air Filters: After completing our work and obtaining our air clearance test results, we will install a complementary set of MERV-8 HVAC filters for you.
